The Lean Toolbox (5th Edition) by Bicheno & Holweg: 342 pages and 1.4 pounds of value

If you are looking for a good value-for-money reference book on Lean you should really consider Bicheno and Holweg’s book: The Lean Toolbox, a handbook for lean transformation (5th Edition).

This 342 pages paperback book is a great reference book, the kind you’ll open again and again to refresh your memory or get (re)inspired. Each of the 19 chapters proposes a condensed explanation on the topic, some graphs and pictures and a related bibliography for you to dive deeper if necessary.

It’ll probably be a challenge to learn all about Lean with this book only, but it sure helps go beyond a training course and keep the memory fresh. I often use it for that with the book on my lap, the 1.4 pounds letting me physically remember the high value of the content.

Publisher: Picsie Books; 5 edition (January 1, 2016). My copy was printed by Amazon in Great Britain and I bought it for only €17.00, a real bargain! The language is English.
